Welcome to the official Tri-City Motor Speedway site. Here you will be updated on the status of re-opening the track. I will post new information as it comes up. Thank you to everyone who has contacted me with ideas and concerns for the track.

Please remember, the track will take time to get to an operational status. Please feel free to contact me at anytime with comments or concerns.

Tri-City Motor Speedway will be undergoing renovations during the 2010 season.  We do not plan to open until the renovations are complete. Details will be posted when an estimated opening date is determined.

Current status:

6-20-10

The excavation of track work has begun. We are sorting out dirt to be able to rebuild the track. Also the process of removing grandstand boards continues. I posted a few new pictures

The new pit office is complete and a few pictures are posted. The old lights and wires along with the guardrail on the inside of the track are down.

We are taking the boards off the grandstands so they can be moved. There will be some boards to sell / donate, send an email if you are interested.

We are doing final preparations on the equipment to bring to the track so we can start building up the new dirt track.

We will race on Friday night, with racing starting at 8:00.

We will post the rules on the rulebook page in the near future.

We plan to open be open for the 2011 season.
