Tri-City Motor Speedway is introducing a new weekly class for the up and coming 2014 racing season. This class will be called the Tri-City Bombers. Stevens’ Cycle Sales Inc. is sponsoring the class and it will be referred to as the Stevens’ Cycle Sales Bomber Stocks. If you’re looking for great entertainment this summer, you can come out and watch cars just like your daily driver speeding around Tri-City Motor Speedway on Friday nights.

What are the Bomber Stocks you ask? This is a front wheel drive car with a V6 engine. This class is designed to be fun and very inexpensive. With fun being the first key, safety is the second aspect to the Bomber Stocks. You buy a car for a few hundred dollars; strip out the interior, windows and exterior lights and moldings. Then you will install a roll cage inside the car, install a racing seat and 5 point harness. For more information on building a car, you can find the rulebook on the rules page.

Tri-City Motor Speedway is your home for stock car racing at the newly renovated 3/8 mile clay oval track and provides on the edge of your seat action for fans of all ages. Conveniently located at 85 W. Wheeler Rd. Auburn, Michigan, the season opens Friday April 25th and runs through September 6th, 2014. General admission $14, age 55 & better $13, kids 7-13 $8, and 6 and under are always FREE. Food available for purchase, coolers welcome, NO GLASS. Friday – Gates open at 5:00, hot laps 6:30-7:15; Beat the Track Record after hot laps and green flag drops (races start) at 7:55 pm.
